I suppose that you all would like to know anything about the band and its members… that’s why I’m giving you this information, despite you cannot be present or even, read the book (sadly…)
Fernando is going to present his new book at the bookseller’s fair of Lisboa, this month.
Here it is, at first hand, the cover and one of the poems, the one which gives the title to the book: “Diálogo de Vultos”, Dialogue of Bulks.
... EDIT: For those who have already read this before: Fernando himself translated the poem... so, here it is, as perfect as it can ever be
Diálogo de vultos
Deita-te nua de ti
No mármore frio do meu corpo.
Our shadowy dialogue
Lay down
Naked of self
On my marble cold body
your eyes closed over the eclipse of mine
Dry your lips upon
the wounded mine
and lay down still:
until these words expire
until the bulks grow quiet
and our love silences, once and for all,
our shadowy dialogue.

And... Fernando is also presenting, at the same fair, the second volume of Lovecraft’s Tales (“Contos”, in Portuguese)… he wrote the forewords (the preface) for each tale.

Arghhhhh! I'm missing the book fair by 2 days! At least I can go to a book store in Lisbon and buy a copy. I love more reasons to try to understand another language! |

Now that's some complex reasoning
Great news, can't wait to get it. |

Unbelievably beautiful cover linking the beauty and darkness (darkness and hope ...). I hope it would be translated in English, I'm curious about it. Or is the whole book already translated in English or what is all that talk about the English translated poems? |
